This training prepares learners for the didactic and lab content of the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification exam administered by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. However, please note that completing the Sterile Processing training series does not fulfill eligibility requirements for the CRCST examinations. Learners need at least 400 hours of hands-on experience preceding the application to obtain full CRST status.1 Additional requirements may apply, depending on the state in which the learner works.
